Produce Pick-up & Deliveries

At a point in just about every gardner's growing season, they find they are producing food faster than they get it consumed and/or preserved. We at Community Roots encourage this excessive behavior. We think that growing surplus produce is somewhat of a national duty. So, if you find yourself in a zucchini or cucumber predicament, don't compost it all, just call Community Roots for a Produce Pick-up and we will deliver it to someone in need.

To Schedule a Pick-up:

1. Set aside unwashed produce in a cardboard box or a paper bag.
2. Call 208-659-0287 or e-mail rootscontact@care2.com.
3. Provide your name, address, phone number, location details, i.e., porch next to garage, and indicate the size of your donation.
4. We will swing by to pick-up your produce on the next scheduled pick-up day.
