Fall Colors Hike with Photography Guide

Kootenai Environmental Alliance,

Camera Corral, and

North Idaho College Wellness Committee

are offering a great fall hike opportunity

     Chic Burge from Camera Corral has been leading hikes since 1985 and has been making images of the Inland Northwest since his childhood.  This hike will start at the Blue Creek Bay Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property with it’s fall colors and old barn. After everyone has captured this area, we will drive to the Wallace L. Forrest Conservation Area (WLFCA) just above the Blue Creek Bay. WLFCA has paths thru its forested area, as well as a view point of the Wolf Lodge Bay area. The WLFCA is a short easy 2 hour hike on easy terrain.

     Sandy Emerson, local CdA native and outdoorsman familiar with the history of the area and with the acquisition of the land, will be joining us on this tour.
