Kayaking Coeur d'Alene Lake is a fantastic way to enjoy the water and surrounding beauty! Access some of the region’s most serene and beautiful places while gently gliding along in your own kayak on Cougar Bay.  The professional guides from ROW Adventures will teach you how to paddle and in no time you’ll be gliding beneath mountains of pine and fir.  Eagles and osprey soar overhead.  Return with new-found confidence, a rested spirit and unforgettable memories.  Both single and double kayaks are available. Minimum age to paddle a single is 12. Paddlers as young as five are welcome in a double kayak with an adult.

Cougar Bay and its surrounding shoreline are dear to many people living here.  Situated one mile from Coeur d’Alene, Cougar Bay is the last undeveloped shallow bay at Lake Coeur d’Alene’s northern end.  It contains rich wildlife habitats in its water, wetland, and uplands.  Join KEA Staff, Board Members and Friends of Cougar Bay and hear first hand of the latest proposals threatening to permanent degrade the communities most precious resource and learn what you can do to continue protecting this irreplaceable natural resource.
