Water Quality

The Kootenai Environmental Alliance is a leading advocate for protecting and improving water quality in the Inland Northwest. The waters of North Idaho flow together and provide tremendous ecological, economic and cultural assets for our region. In order to protect these resources, we routinely monitor and provide comment regarding applications for land and waterway disturbances that may impair our precious waters. Additionally, we advocate for more stringent regulations and faster cleanup of our already impaired waterbodies. Major projects include:
